30 Dec Two Years of SybilCreates: Good Riddance 2019

Good riddance 2019, you were a nightmare! Hello 2020, I remain sceptical of you but I am open to optimism. So, what made 2019 so hellish? Well, I kicked off April with a much-needed blog hiatus. I decided to take a break because I felt as if I was drowning in my own life. This probably makes little sense to anyone reading this. I had just made the decision to become 100% self-employed whilst simultaneously launching my Etsy shop. Only God knows how exhausted and stressed out I am. So far, everything is crippling slow. I am trying not to dwell too much as it is early days. The year 2019 has been marred by an assortment of drama. I will not go into too much detail but many people will be left in 2019. I need to protect myself and prioritise my mental health. Sorry, not sorry! I end 2019, tired, in so many ways. I am physically as well as mentally fed up. I am trying so hard to remain hopeful. I am sceptical of 2020 but I think I will persevere.

SybilCreates is two years old today (well, in two more days). Wow. I am finding this a little hard to celebrate as I was expecting to have achieved so much more! However, words can’t express my gratitude for all of the support I have received throughout 2019. Thank you so much!
