Bantu Knots and Braids

Zara (yes, this Bratz Play Sportz Rockin’ Cheerleadin’ Sasha doll has a name) desired a fun festival-friendly hairstyle. She loves all things unconventional! Using purple braiding hair, I decided to create a unique hairstyle by incorporating bantu knots, cornrows and box braids. Love the hairstyle? Check out the video below and learn how to recreate it!

Equipment Used:

  • Patience.
  • Your client (a doll in need of a new hairstyle). I used Bratz Play Sportz Rockin’ Cheerleadin’ Sasha.
  • Hairbands.
  • Scissors.
  • Kanekalon braiding hair (any brand will do).
  • A tail comb or a needle. I used a needle as it is the best option if you want sharp and clean parts.
  • A hairbrush.
  • Metal cuffs, beads, etc. (optional).

Everything you will need should be available via Amazon.
