09 Jun Two-Tone Purple Fulani Braids
Words can’t express how much I adore this Barbie Fashionistas doll. She is so gorgeous and her complexion is …everything! Whilst I like her hairstyle, the quality of the hair is pretty poor, a beautiful tangled mess. A Doll Collector could look past this but as I am also a Doll Customiser, I saw this as an opportunity to experiment and have some fun. Long story short, we are still in quarantine and everything that could have went wrong did! I ran out of acetone and her head split during the rerooting process. Regardless, I thouroughly enjoyed this custom; I used it as an opportunity to experiment. Can you repaint a doll without removing its factory face paint? Can you repair/save a split doll head? Watch me answer such questions and prevent a fail!
