04 Feb My First Yarn Reroot
Yes, you read right! This is my first attempt at rerooting, using yarn. This may come as a surprise as yarn is used by everyone in the doll community; it is the go-to for rerooting as well as making wigs for dolls. Always looking to learn and try something new, I felt it was about time I took myself out of my synthetic hair comfort zone. Watch me save a yarn reroot fail (yes, it initially flopped) and create a Rihanna inspired faux locs bun updo hairstyle. Well, I say it is Rihanna inspired as that is what I set out to create but the final result is more Erykah Badu. Regardless, I like it!
